What You’ll Do as a Building Surveyor:

· Lead the way: Conduct property inspections, diagnose issues, and manage repairs from start to finish.

· Champion quality: Oversee damp, mould, and disrepair works, ensuring every home meets bpha’s high standards.

· Be the expert: Provide technical advice to colleagues and customers and supervise contractors to guarantee top-notch results.

· Drive positive change: Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure repairs are completed efficiently and safely.

· Make every mile count: Travel across bpha’s diverse communities, bringing your expertise directly to the people who need it most.

 

What You’ll Bring as a Building Surveyor:

· Strong communication and report-writing skills.

· Excellent IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, housing/asset management systems).

· Commitment to customer care, equality, diversity, and inclusion.

· Self-motivation and independence.

· Negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

· In-depth knowledge of building construction, maintenance, and social housing legislation.

· Experience with Housing Disrepair/Housing Condition Claims.

· Relevant qualifications (HNC/HND, HHSRS Practitioner, CIOB/RICS membership).
