Full time (37 hours per week) 

 

We are looking for a Voids Coordinator to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. You will support the administration and co-ordination of void properties, ensuring that bpha meets its quality and response targets, continuously improving service delivery and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. 

This will involve being the main point of contact for contractors, colleagues and residents regarding forthcoming and existing void properties, and post-void properties, therefore excellent communication skills are vital. 

 

Key responsibilities 

  • To coordinate the voids process ensuring that turnaround times are met  

  • To maintain accurate records of works to void properties and data is stored accordingly  

  • To be the main point of contact for contractors, colleagues and residents regarding forthcoming and existing void properties and post void properties  

  • To ensure that the line manager is provided with data covering all key aspects of the void process as required  

  • Provide a seamless end to end journey for the customer and the organisation. 

 

 About you  

  • You will need to be a highly motivated individual who is able to work in a busy and reactive environment 

  •  We will require you to be able to work without guidance, show initiative and be able to make decisions along with being able to work as part of a wider team  

  • You will need to be a good communicator and be able to provide clear information to both internal and external stakeholders  

  • You will need to be proactive and committed to constantly improving the services we provide to our colleagues and customers 

 

We’d love to meet someone with: 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working within housing and property maintenance or a similar service 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly (verbally and in writing) 

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (particularly excel), Asset databases – preferably CRM and other housing management software packages 

  • Knowledge and experience of construction, voids and maintenance 

  • Great communicator committed to providing good quality and clear information to both internal and external stakeholders 

  • Educated to GCSE levels
